A love letter to NYC and Italian-American cooking: Italian NY celebrates the rich culinary history of the immigrants who combined Italian flavors with American abundance - ultimately creating something authentically New York. 
Each episodes entertains with a mix of cooking inspiration and traveling to local culinary destinations across NY.  Episodes spotlight stories about the people and places that contributed to making Italian-American food its own thing (and those that redefine it today).  
The format is an episodic, food/culture documentary series akin to Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, Stanley Tucci's Searching for Italy and PBS's New Scandinavian Cooking.  The pilot episode has been filmed across NYC & Westchester highlighting cultural institutions, local personalities and small businesses.  
The show can be structured to fit 30-minute traditional broadcasts (with commercial breaks) or streaming.

Host & Chef David DiBari
Known for his boundary-pushing style, David DiBari is Chef and Owner of The Cookery as well as The Parlor in Dobbs Ferry, NY.  Each are rated Excellent by The New York Times with DiBari praised for his “smartly executed, neo-nostalgic Italian menu.” DiBari also owns DoughNation, a mobile, wood-fired pizza truck featured in the pilot episode.
Named Westchester’s “Best Chef” 2015 by Westchester Magazine, Chef DiBari was also recently featured on its cover.  He has appeared on CBS Saturday Morning, Good Day New York, CBS’s Toni On NY!, and WABC’s Neighborhood Eats.
Creator & Showrunner Christopher Galluzzo
Native New Yorker, filmmaker, photographer and son of Italian immigrants; Christopher has been producing & directing branded, commercial and episodic content for large companies for nearly two decades.  His work has been published by outlets including The Wall St. Journal, USA Today, NY Daily News, Forbes, Fortune, The LA Times & more.  He has directed work broadcast nationally on CNBC, streamed on Amazon Prime and for Italian network tv (Gruppo L'Espresso / La Repubblica TV). 
Christopher conceived of Italian New York over the course of living, working and extensive travels throughout the regions of Italy.
